Our Business ORGANIZATIONAL DIAGNOSTICS provides consulting
services to businesses, the public sector,
and not-for-profit organizations. Most
typically our clients had originally
considered an employee survey, but
were worried about their poor experience
with surveys in the past.
Based on
20 years of experience, we
have isolated the obstacles to an effective employee survey in organizational
settings; we provide an alternative which
leverages
the organic nature of organizations
and peoples' innate desire to improve their
situation.
The Principals

Jerry L. Talley, Ph.D.
Jerry received his doctorate from Stanford
University's Sociology Department with a focus on applied sociology, research methods and
statistics. His work is a blend of his facility with data analysis, systems diagnosis, and
working with people. He has worked for clients in the computer industry, construction,
finance, pharmaceuticals, and health care. Prior to his consulting work, he was on the
faculty at Stanford for fifteen years, teaching numerous courses in applied sociology,
research methodology, and marriage and intimacy. Along with his academic work, he also
worked as a therapist with families and psychiatric inpatients. In 1972 he started a
companion practice in organizational consulting, which culminated in founding
ORGANIZATIONAL DIAGNOSTICS in 1984.

Susan J. Hoffer, Ph.D.
Susan received her Doctorate in Counseling
Psychology from Stanford University,
where she also studied with
the Stanford Graduate School of
Business. She also holds a Masters
of Science in Counseling and Guidance
from the University of Wisconsin.
Susan has consulted in organizational settings
for the past 23 years. Combining
a psychology background with a rigorous research
and organizational systems focus,
Susan is uniquely qualified to
combine the sometimes-messy "human side" of organizational
effectiveness with a data-based systems perspective.

Alison Montgomery B.S.
Alison received her Bachelor's degree from
California State University at Chico in Business Administration. She has been working at
ORGANIZATIONAL DIAGNOSTICS since October 1994. She oversees the general office operations. She works closely with clients on project
scheduling, data management problems, and other features of our work.

Patches
Patches is our Chief Morale
Officer. She has developed a Performance
Enhancement Training program which has successfully increased morale among all
the staff. Everyone involved in the PET experience has found it soothing
and relaxing. She also helps keep job pressures
in perspective by periodically being
irresistibly cute.

Marbles
Marbles is our Chief Security Officer. She
identifies whichever papers are the most important
(typically the ones right in the middle of my desk)
and
then lays across them to ensure they are not blown
away by the wind. She
also marks each piece of mail or equipment as it comes
into the office to ward
off other cats from competing companies. |
